Important Advice on the Role of this Document
The Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005 obliges the Scottish
Government to properly consider the environmental effects of a plan, before its
content is finalised. This Environmental Report document is the result of that
work. The report is a report on
the 6 Draft Noise Action Plans.
Technical Guidence
Guidance for stakeholders on determining whether or
not an identified Candidate Noise Management Area (CNMA) should progress to Noise
Management Area (NMA) status or whether the declaration of a NMA would not be
appropriate in the circumstances has now been published.
